Bethany Reynolds Young Classical Pianist

About

Bethany Reynolds is an eleven-year-old classical pianist and composer. She studies piano with Siu Chui Li and composition with Mark Fielding. She is also a member of Pro Corda, the National School for Chamber Music.

Bethany has achieved success in several piano and composition competitions. She won Gold at the UK Schools’ Music Festival in 2025 and received the CCMF Trophy for Outstanding Performance on Piano at the Cambridge Community Music Festival 2026.

Bethany has a passion for performing and has appeared at numerous venues across London and the East of England, including the Elgar Room at the Royal Albert Hall, Saffron Hall, the Angela Burgess Recital Hall at the Royal Academy of Music, and the 1901 Arts Club. She has performed alongside many distinguished artists, including pianist Tom Poster in a piano duet, and in a piano trio with violinist Daniel Rowland and cellist Sébastien van Kuijk. She has also appeared in concerts featuring renowned pianists Gülsin Onay and Ariel Lanyi.

She made her concerto debut with the Wivenhoe Orchestra in May 2024, aged nine, and gave her first solo recital in March 2025, aged ten, as part of the St Andrew’s Lunchtime Concert Series. She performed the Andante from Shostakovich’s Piano Concerto No. 2 with the St Botolph’s Orchestra in November 2024 and Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 17 in G major, K. 453, in full in July 2026, aged eleven.

Bethany has also participated in masterclasses and received guidance from Tom Poster, Alex Redington, Norma Fisher, Tessa Nicholson and Gülsin Onay.
